For the Love of Indie #100

Can looking ahead spoil a podcast episode? Don’t find out! You can get this episode on Google PlayiTunesStitcher or here!

Christopher Reda is back in the For the Love of Indie spotlight with artist Leandro Rizzo and their title Zombie Zero. Published by Critical Entertainment.

After the zombie plague things were tough, but humanity persevered and now the zombies are no more… with a few exceptions like Alexander Livingston. With the options of being hunted, spreading the virus again, or being “safe” the heat is on.

You can check in with Critical Entertainment at this year’s SDCC and get Zombie Zero OR you can get copies here.

Loïc Locatelli-Kournwsky and Archaia return to a world of Greek myths in Persephone.

Playing and reworking some classic stories give us the beautiful tale of a young woman trying to find out about her past through a journey to the Underworld, with her magic adopted mom Demeter.

You can pick up this new take on old stories here!

“Would you have a sister?” Haruto Ryo and Yen Press want to know with Ibitsu, they also let you know what happens if you answer.

A trash-nested lolita-dressed woman asks Kazuki if he’d be down for a new sister, which he politely explain won’t be necessary because he has a sister (and is creeped out). What results is Kazuki being pursued by an entity that is highly dangerous to him and everyone he knows.

This is an excellent addition to a horror library, but not for the squeamish. Get it here!

The second volume in the podcast adaptation of The Adventure Zone is here! This tome was published by First Second and is written by Clint, Griffin, Justin, and Travis McElroy with art by Carey Pietsch.

Adventure Zone: Murder On the Rockport Limited adapts the second campaign of the podcast. This time around Merle, Taako, and Magnus must team up with Angus the boy detective to solve a murder with a dangerous relic on the line.

The humor from the show is there and Carey’s art give you so much to look at on every panel. This book JUST came out and can be bought here.
